WoB Blog Tour- Day 6 and Excerpt!

Howdy and welcome to the 6th and final day of The Wildcat of Braeton promotional blog tour! I had some internet issues, the fixing of which took about a million years, so I’m just now getting around to my post!

Today, we have Ms. Katie Grace of A Writer’s Faith giving me an interview! Go check it out and come back here to see the excerpt from the book!

Onward!

“I see them! They’re coming!” a warrior yelled, running through the gates. His cries halted all activity.

“Dillon, keep them working on those windows!” Aiden called. “Gareth, where do we stand on the provisions?”

“Almost all in, sir. We only need a few more minutes!” Gareth replied. Aiden grabbed the reins of a horse still standing in the courtyard.

“I’ll be back. Be ready tae close the gates!” he ordered as he rode out. The rain had slowed and he could see the first ranks of the Durnians breaking through the trees at the far end of the lake. Aiden spurred toward them and halted on the shores of the lake. Adalwulf saw him in the dim twilight. He raised his hand and his army stamped to a halt.

“I’m impressed! It didn’t take too long for you tae figure out that I was double-crossing you,” Aiden called, leaning on the pommel of the saddle.

“Your father had some choice words to say about you, Aiden. I regret not having my men deal with you when you arrived,” Adalwulf replied. Aiden chose to ignore the first comment.

“You shouldn’t blame Torsten. He was obviously less than up tae the task!” Aiden laughed. Torsten’s face darkened in rage.

“I will enjoy watching you scream as I kill you!” he shouted.

“I’m sure I will too. Just make sure our places are not reversed,” Aiden warned.

“Do you wish to surrender, Aiden?” Adalwulf asked.

“It hadn’t really crossed my mind. I was just seeing how long I could stall you,” Aiden replied.

            “Kill him!” Adalwulf screamed.

Want to find out what happens next? Check out the book when it finally comes out in hopefully May! 🙂

Release Date Info-

Due to circumstances beyond my control, the release date has been moved to (most likely) May. However, if you feel that you cannot live without this book, you can buy it here.  Warning- it costs about a hundred-million dollars (or I’m a poor college student and anything over $20 is expensive), so I would wait until its official release date and you can shop more cheaply! Stay tuned on my Facebook page or blog for more info on the release date!

Don’t forget the giveaway! Today is the last day to enter and you have until midnight tonight! You have a chance to win one of two copies of The Wildcat of Braeton and an accompanying set of illustrations from the series!

Enter Here!

I hope you have enjoyed the tour so far (if you’ve been keeping up)! I know I certainly have! Tune in to my blog to stay up to date with all happenings in my corner of West Texas, or I’ve got a new newsletter up and running! I’ll be running a re-cap tomorrow and announcing the winners of the giveaway!
